What are your hours of operation?
We are open Mon-Fri 7:30am-4:30pm PST.
What is your minimum order?
Index has a $50.00 minimum purchase order within the U.S. and $250.00 minimum purchase order on all International orders.
Do you accept credit cards?
Index accepts Visa/MasterCard and American Express.
What are your credit terms?
Index's credit terms are C.O.D./Credit Card on first orders. After the initial order you may apply for open terms which are Net-30 payable. You may send trade references to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Can I purchase products online from your website?
Unfortunately no. Due to the unstable steel industry these days, prices/surcharges from our vendors may fluctuate on a weekly basis and this makes it very difficult to have static pricing online for our customers. The easiest and fastest way to purchase is to call or e-mail our sales department.
Can you provide certification/traceability on product?
Index Fasteners offers several types of Certification from PPAP through Manufacturers Certification, Certificates of Conformance, DFAR and Lot Traceability. We are ROHS, PFOS, WEEE and ISO 9001:2000 compliant. We can certify most AN, MS, NAS and MIL products. We have custom bar coding and labeling available to all Automotive and Military specifications.
Can you cross reference products for me?
We have literally thousands of cross reference charts in our database. This combined with the knowledge of our experienced sales engineers will guarantee we find the correct product for your application.
What are your shipping terms?
Stock product ships within the U.S. same day on orders received before 3:00 pm PST. We will ship UPS Next Day Air, Second Day Air and 3 Day Air up to 3:30 pm. Index ships with UPS and FedEx Freight. If you have an account with another freight forwarder your more than welcome to schedule a pickup, just provide our accounting or your sales person with the details and we'll have the product ready and waiting. Index ships worldwide.
Will you drop ship to my customer?
No problem. Index is in the business of customer service and will ship wherever you need the product to be. Need it blind? No problem. We will package your product securely without markings or can use the markings/paperwork of your choice so you stay protected.
Do you have outside sales reps?
Sure do. If you have an application that warrants a visit from one of our engineers and all other means of service have been exhausted, we're more than happy to come to your facility. If you are in an area out of reach from one of our engineers and the application warrants the visit, we will get a sales rep to you by all means necessary. Index also works very closely with our vendors located throughout the nation who can provide additional engineering services when needed.
